Can the Solway Solar Energy team install solar water heaters at home or at my business?
Yes you can in a domestic setting you will probably need to budget for a few square metres probably on your roof. In a business setting depending on your needs you would need a larger area. In the domestic situation you are very unlikely to require any form of planning permission we will do any checks on your behalf. Our network works closely with planning departments in all regions of the UK and will be aware of any potential planning issues before they become an issue.
Why has everyone not got one already? Is a question that gets asked quite regularly. There are some requirements that certainly not every house can meet. You preferably have a south facing sloping roof. It is possible to install east - west facing solar panels and installations designed for flat roofs. They do not work quite as well so be aware of the geography of your proposed solar system.
