We've been asked many times throughout 2011 what would be required for a free pick up. We've got a much better idea after running a few trials Solway are looking for around 6000 bale wraps or equivalent in pit covers or 30 full Solway Liners.
FAQ: There are only around 5 farms local that produce much wrap we can't make 6000 wraps for a load, can we get a free collection?
We've looked at this question again and again this year to try and make the free collection feasible and we think that we have found a solution with the plastic super deal 2012.
If the 5 farms buy their wrap and/or pit covers for 2012 then we'll take their bale wrap and pit covers from last season away free of charge. How can the plastic be presented for uplift?
IMPORTANT - The free collection is for SILO PIT COVERS and BALE WRAP ONLY
The material will be collected either loose or in Solway Liners.
Free From Excess Debris (please remove as much straw and silage as possible VERY CLEAN LOADS will gaurantee your free collection next year.)
No Stones, Tyres or other Plastic Types (unagreed items will be returned and delivery charged to the group of farmers responsible).
