Bale Wrap Manufacture Process
Almost all of the films you see listed above use a 3 layer blown technique. What this means to you the farmer is probably nothing. To not make it geeky or overly complicated this means that the polymers enter the chamber at 3 different angles and are bonded together in 3 different directions - this will make a 3 layer blown film stronger than a cast film the polymer is added in a layer and there is no extra cross-over strengthening.
The bale wrap manufacture process does make a difference the finished strength of your bales the 3 layer films have been proven in the fields over the years so make sure you know what your buying a cheaper film is not a bargain if it's not of sufficient quality to protect your crop.

You'll also see that there is sometimes nothing different than the box on your wrap from the farms down the road as many manufacturers use the exact same manufacture process to supply the same marketplace.
And that premium brand VOLAC was manufactured in exactly the same manner as TENOSPIN and TRIO the major difference being the level of advertising and the method of distribution of the film.
